With just over six weeks to go until the Cincinnati UCI3 cyclocross weekend, pre-registration numbers are holding steady at 100% improvement over 2009. The biggest hikes are with the women’s 3/4 categories, which are up over 200%. Are the women’s fields going to trend higher all fall cx season? We’re excited to find out.

There’s no one in the world more qualified to teach a women’s cyclocross clinic than Katie Compton. www.katiecompton.com Multiple World Cup winner, multiple U.S. National Champion, experienced coach, and quite possibly the best technical bike handler in women’s off-road cycling. She’ll be joined by husband Mark, an experienced mechanic and cx racer and writer for Cyclocross Magazine. This clinic is geared towards beginners, but the expert women that took her clinic last year said that they learned a lot themselves.
